Sounds very much like when they introduced the Smarts, interesting sure....but...?

With the performance other EV's are showing, isn't 4.3 seconds to 30 mph or 50 kph a tad snail like?  OR am I missing something?   Yes comparable to our CDI Smarts maybe...but damn!     As they say perfect for city dwellers.    Again the range is an issue for anyone living outside their urban center...again we're left behind.....as I would need to recharge imho mid trip.   Like the car on paper so to speak, hard to see it 100% but dang, increase the range by 100% and bump the performance a bit also. Not looking for nose bleed speeds etc just a bit nippy...?

We can only dream....and so far I'm not convinced.....or is that converted....lol.

I agree with your comments, in particular the range. It’s about double the electric 451, but if it was roughly the 240km then that would be something.

That said, the battery in the e.GO is designed to be replaced going forward, unlike the majority of electric cars. That would suggest that at some point a higher density battery with greater range might be available.
