raffa
Hello Everyone Smart cars were very tempting for me since almost their beginning. Almost 4 years ago my dream came true. I bought a 2003 cabrio 700 ccm. As it's not the most popular car on the market on both sides of the ocean and workshops are not familiar with them, owners' forums are a great help. I've been reading the NA forum since a long time, but finally decided it's about time to register and say hello My smart has been produced for the German market in 2003 and been there until late 2018 when I bought it and brought back home Since then it's travelling mostly in the southern part of Poland, Europe It was supposed to be a car to drive to work, but quickly started to be the most popular mean of transportation in my hands I've been using it since for everything, including going on holiday in the mountains with my girlfriend and our bikes and other things, too Smart cars are getting more and more popular in Poland. We're having a Polish forum, too. And we're the only region in our country to have regular monthly spots since the beginning of 2020 We've started it in two smarts, on the last spot there were 10 of them We hope that our community will grow Edited September 6, 2022 by raffa
Leadwing
In southern Ontario (Canada), before Covid, we had monthly meetings and would have rallies that had people from all over North America attending them. Good luck with the group runs . I hope your meets are all successful.
MikeT
Enjoy! There will likely never be another car like the 450 ever again.
450ken
The problem is this car was discontinued right when we need it the most for fuel efficiency and economical transportation reasons. I drive around Vancouver and the people I see driving Smart CDI's are old retired people ! A great car for pensioners !

Mike you should check out the new electric Citroen Ami. There are lots of videos on YouTube about that revolutionary car.
MikeT
I like driving faster than 40 km/h - I go faster than this on my bicycle. Plus it will never be sold here in Canada.
LooseLugNuts
ive always wanted a honda acty....since they seem to fit my needs in terms of fuel economy and cargo capacity or even suzuki carry ...they used to be fairly inexpensive if you bought a container load of them (7 at a time) but i shop the big and tall section so ive never really seriously looked into them very deep someone should invent a mini truck with a cab based off the smart tridion

Anything further was like waiting for a rod to pop out the side....so I was told? Yes I have heard or a gearing change to get a slightly taller top gear.....but still....I finally stepped back from wanting one now. And anyone thinking that Citroen is anything to own ......well ....insane...!!! lol...a total waste of time unless you are requiring a dry mobility scooter so to speak!
raffa
Hello again I'm not a very active forum user but still read a lot. But this time I just wanted to share a very good information: some time ago my girlfriend joined our smart meetings and she was 'infected' with the well known 'smart disease' so we started looking for her first car and in the beginning of September she bought a 2006 Roadster Coupé in one of the final special editions: Blackstar SB2 signed by Brabus. It has a 334 engine (the one that has 82 HP) which has been factory lifted to 90 HP No Brabus badges inside / outside. All original state The Roadster has been bought from its first German owner with a mileage just below 107 tkm and has been serviced for 16 years in Smart Center the last service was made by a local smart specialist. The car is mechanically in a very good condition, it requires some external care, which is in progress. Roof is the priority, as we are approaching the autumn / winter.
