BOUGHT.. Spare tire with Rim for 2010 Smart 451

Recommended Posts

Looking for (1) 155/60R15 spare tire with rim for 2010 smart. Just a steel rim would work, nothing fancy as it's just a spare to sit behind the passenger seat. Has anyone had any luck using a "donut tire" as a spare..? Located in Windsor, Ontario, Canada so would prefer something close to my area..

What you are looking for is simply a front wheel and tire for the 451.  No such thing as a spare . I think we all have had the very same thought but most never see the need for it in the long run unless going long distances etc.  To each their of course....it shouldn't be that difficult to find....I have a set but do not want to break it up as I'll be stuck with a single wheel. I suggest FB marketplace also.  Good luck.

My 2005 don't have a spare just a compressor and GOO to seal a flat.....you could fit a third thin front wheel behind the passenger seat as long as the passenger is a shorter legged person.....lol.   Like I said above, a few of us thought about doing it but after looking for the right sized wheel and tire we realized there really wasn't a need for it. In 6 years or so I've never had a flat.  Mind you I also have never had a flat on any of my vehicles since I started driving......50 years ago.....augh!!!!    Off-Roading doesn't count.....lol.   But if I were to cross the country in out of the way areas then I also would be carrying a spare. I also rarely carry a passenger so space wouldn't be an issue...lol.
