JakeMorgan Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 That is a beautiful home you have there. I grew up in a log home of similar construction just off of Lake Huron. It is good to see someone who loves log homes, who also loves smarts! Quote
Cait Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 allo!!! welcome to the club!!!!! i've been known to add a french word or two into my posts, and people seem to understand, so ne worry pas about us not being able to understand you! We're pretty good at decoding! Quote

Calimero Posted March 13, 2006 Author Posted March 13, 2006 Thank you everybody for your warm welcome. I already feel at home. Thank you Jake. In fact my love of beautiful things is taking me alot of time and money. But I prefer to spend my time and money on beauty. Quote
Duck Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 Salut! You post great videos over on the Quebec version. I'll be up in your province later this year for the opening of the new Goliath at La Ronde. You have the best avatar, I think. Welcome aboard! -Iain Quote
Guest manuelwawa Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 Wow, Nice pics. Welcome. I wonder how many Quebecers we have so far. Just a note: The Montreal Gazette has an article this Wednesday on driving a Smart in the winter. You can Go to canada.com to log into the Gazette to see the article. Since I have driven a Smart all winter I will be curious to see if my experiences match that of the article. Remember the high winds last month. I was on the autoroute 15 N. and had absolute stability,so they better be fair with there report lol. wawa Quote
SM4RT_JMC Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 Wonder if Smart cars are allowed on Rue Prince Arthur (Montreal)... There are as I remember no, no parking signs... Quote

parts4smarts Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 I'll put up with your excellent English on this site as long as you put up with my rather poor French on the Quebec site Harald PS any chance of explaining the 'capital 'O' in the middle of koOak ???? or am I being nosy??? Quote
Calimero Posted March 16, 2006 Author Posted March 16, 2006 any chance of explaining the 'capital 'O' in the middle of koOak ???? or am I being nosy??? In fact it's not a capital O, it's a zero. I did that because of my email address. I needed to add a number to my nickname (too many kooak in the world?)... It's now part of it. Quote
Duck Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Ha! I never noticed that. Funny how the human mind works, I always read it as "Kodak"! Either way, your avatar is still fantastic. -Iain Quote
Calimero Posted March 16, 2006 Author Posted March 16, 2006 Duck, I have a question for you... What does "LMAO" means? (probably a french thing). Quote
