Buying an Electric Smart ??

Looking for all the 'expert' opinion out there.  I'm thinking about buying a used electric Smart.

No, I haven't lost what little mind I have left.  Let me explain.....

As of this writing, which year might be the best choice ??

There are a few across the country from 2014, '15, '16, '17, & '18.

I realize low mileage is important, but I'm looking for real world performance and experience.

fyi.... Looking for a Smart as 2 cars fit nicely in my single car garage (used to own 3).  Keeping my 2005 Passion.

Is the Fiat 500E a possibility?  Any other really small car suggestions?

I need 100 to 150 mile capability.  Overnight 110v charging is all I need.

Any and all feedback appreciated.

I own the 451 Ed 2013, its the best Smart Car. Winter mileage like we have now is around 70KM with heat ON and 140KM(No A/C) during the warmer months.

 

Its extremely quick, no shifting, just all around better car than any 450-451 Gas/Diesel.

 

if you are looking for 100 Miles/160KM range then Smart cars 450-453 are not it though.
