smartnhappy Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 Does anyone know if a custom-fit front cover, aka 'Bra', is made for the Smart ?? If so, where, how much, etc. Inquiring minds want to know! Thanks. Quote
SM4RT_JMC Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 When I talk to women the always complain about the underwire, they say it scratches. Make sure you get one with proper compression rather than the wire for support!! LOL Quote
MikeT Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 I haven't seen one but it'd be just the ticket for Eddie and anyone else planning to drive the Dempster.... Quote
bilgladstone Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 I just can't see paying a few hundred bucks for a bra on the smart. All that fuss and fidgeting. Especially when we can just buy an entire front body panel for what? maybe $500? Quote
smartnhappy Posted March 30, 2006 Author Posted March 30, 2006 I'm just looking for a front cover to handle the bugs from highway driving in rural southern Ontario all summer and fall. It's the big, juicy ones that harden over the week between car washes that I'm looking for protection from. Also the quintillion ladybug-like beetles we've come to enjoy so much around here over the last few years. Any coverage against stone chips and other nastys is a bonus. Anyone know of such a front cover device ??? Quote
smartsk88er Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 hey guys, I have an idea for ya.. When I first got my smart, I got the windows tinted like two days later. I called around and found a very good place in Woodbridge called Lazer Tint. They have a computer program that cuts out the sheets of tint with a lazer, so its an exact fit every time. What i found really interesting though is they install this custom fit clear plastic sheet over the bumpers, hood, front of mirrors and any other surface thats exposed to stone chips. It is a very thin and clean layer of plastic so you can only see if it you look really hard, and basically it takes the abuse of the bugs and stonechips, and once you peel it off, you're origional paintjob will be in the same condition im not sure about what the name of this is called, or how much they charge, but go to canada411.ca and search for Lazer Tint in Woodbridge and see what they say.. dunno if that helps, but hopefully it does..
