Not to pick on MB specifically, but I was also just sent this:

I have seen stories on other brands and similar incidents causing a write-off. Yikes.

Yeah I've seen that happen to an Ioniq5 in BC. A ding in the floor causing warranty to be cancelled and a writeoff.

 

Luckily for me, M-B PHEVs have their batteries above the rear drive axle.
