pipsqueak Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 Hi everyone. I've already been on the forums for a few days, but thought I should introduce myself. Not the same one though, That would be one old hamster Well our car is one week old now, and is about the be washed and waxed for the 3rd time. The two of us are Theme park junkies and travel alot around the U.S. going to all the parks. This Aug will be taking it to Tennessee. Cant wait! mckinney Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 Welcome to Woodstock - back at you! Good to see another smarti in town. I commute to Elmira everyday, a 150 Km round trip. I love the car and traded in my 2002 Jetta TDI to get it. (We still have a 2004 Jetta TDI to use when more seats are needed). The savings and the level of fun are all great. However, in September my commute will be cut in half so I may just have to drive around more to keep the fun level up. Quote
smart142 Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 Glad to hear you're having fun with the ''pipsqueak''. The London members having been meeting the first Wed of the month and in June(7th) we are going to Port Stanley. Check it out and we would love to see you there! Mackies, Shaw's ice cream, and lots of smarts. Quote
mckinney Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 You "spotted" me tonight. I was parked outside the MPP's office while attending MI3. My wife wants to know if you were the Stream Green parked at the Bingo Hall Friday night. She was there working for her school - I think she was near the front door selling the cards. Quote
pipsqueak Posted May 14, 2006 Author Posted May 14, 2006 Hi , LOL I'm the bay gray pulse, The green one was parked almost behind you too. I also spotted a black pure at Blockbuster. We cruised for a bit but it was raining, so home we went. Was that an alarm chripping at me Hope you didnt mind. Maybe one day we could all take over Bartleys or D.Q. See ya around Spike Quote
mckinney Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 Yes that was the initial warning from the Gorilla alarm - if the full alarm had gone off you would have known it! Quote
pipsqueak Posted May 15, 2006 Author Posted May 15, 2006 Hi all, I had some time to take some pics today, I'm starting to really love this little car, Were also eating alot of ice cream, its fun going out for ice cream and sitting there as anonymous and watching people check out the car. But boy the finger prints. LOL Quote
MikeT Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 My 17 year old daughter Jenn wants a cabriolet in this colour, with twister green seats, foglights and strikeline wheels. She saw one at Hambach last year that was like that, and she has been smitten ever since. Quote
pipsqueak Posted May 15, 2006 Author Posted May 15, 2006 That sounds sweet!! , SO you gonna buy her one?? Quote
MikeT Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 I have three kids, and each one would want a new smart, hehe I might buy a used one in a couple of years, as a communal university commuting machine for them though. Quote
Duck Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 Hi all, I had some time to take some pics today, I'm starting to really love this little car, Were also eating alot of ice cream, its fun going out for ice cream and sitting there as anonymous and watching people check out the car. But boy the finger prints. LOL Man I wish I'd gone with bay grey now. Rggggggh!! Looks so good. Goin' to Dollywood on your Tenn. trip? You must know MarineLand is getting the same ride (HUSS Topple Tower). My parents rode Thunderhead last year and said it is off da hook. I just got back from La Ronde (Goliath opening)... that ride is sick! Just hill after hill of perfectly engineered air... -Iain Quote
pipsqueak Posted May 15, 2006 Author Posted May 15, 2006 Goliath eh?? must be nice. My roomate and I go to Dollywood for 2 days every year. Thunderhead is my alltime fav. coaster. I couldnt ride it late year because Minebuster messed up my back and syatic (spelling) nerves for about 6 months. I could only watch and drool and take pics. I'm going to make up for that this year!!!! My ultimate dream job is to work there. I'm avoiding PCW this year. there price went up again too. My fav. coaster at PCW is Wild Beast. You like the bay gray, I like the green LOL. Hey you wanna do a Martins Fantasy Island trip sometime, I've yet to go on the Silver Comet Quote
m2cute4u Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 I've been spotted at the Woodstock Gallery Cinemas on Saturday Night. Thanks pipsqueak. Quote

When shall we hang out in the Zellers parking lot next to the Ex-Harvey's-and-Swiss-Chalet and use our CB radios to call in people who do the dig more than twice per hour? LOL I love Woodstock! -Iain Quote
