Hi you familiar strangers,

I was wondering, too why there is this second forum next to MBCanada. But nice to see you all here, too.

For those who want to know I am a German lady and I am a proud owner of a black pure cab since St. Patricks Day. I might be even the first person, living in Canada who got to sit into a smart car when it was first introduced in Frankfurt at the car show in 1998?

By the way - at that time I did not like it... *lol*

So now I will have to look at both forums to see which one gives me the most information.

I like that you have still the HOW TO topic. I miss that in the other one.

no unfortunately we missed it. The weekends I was home we could not decide to go or the weather was bad and then I had to travel lately so much.

I was kind of sad to miss it, but there is hope for next year.

Mike - I feel so bad, I do have to apologize for not getting back to you.

I have offered to help you with translation from German to English and you repied. I briefly looked over it but not close enough. At the first glance it looked ok.

And then I was leaving for several trips to the US and Montreal. I do have to travel a lot for business and when I was at home I was so exhausted. SORRY!!!

Nevertheless please bother me with questions. I will promise to do my best.

But I also warn you the first two weeks of July I will not look into one computer = holiday.

Finally after 2 1/2 years. No cell phone, no laptop...

Usually I am pretty reliable and precise (yes - very German :-) ) and fast. So test me again if you want to.

clubsmartcar.ca is new, but it's growing quickly. Because this board is dedicated solely to the smart car enthusiast, its priorities aren't compromised by other brands. You can see the interest building with the belief that this can be a truly great place to be. It is what we make of it.

Hi Kerstin! Good to see you found your way to the ''other'' site. When the mb site condensed the smart section and made it more difficult to find topics and ''how to's''some of the members were politely protesting. I was just ready to post a reply and the topic was closed and deleted.Rather heavy handed and confirmed that the administrators were more interested in mb's than smarts.I guess that is why I'm spending more time on this site.I will be at micro north and hope you make it. Hey did you see my dual exhaust in the how to section?

Also keep in mind that you don't need to make a choice between the two forums. They both exist and can both be used. Ultimately, I presume one will be gravitated more than the other because people don't want to be double-posting all the time, but until then certainly feel free to use both for your information!
