Mine says GMT - 4 hours for the Atlantic Time Zone. ARTZ, you should be GMT - 3 during Daylight Savings Time: reference Toronto is GMT - 4 during Daylight Savings Time. Outside of DST, remove an hour (Fredericton would be GMT - 4 and Toronto would be GMT - 5). For now at least, you have to manually select your time zone adjustment on this board. Quote
Awesys Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 I see you joined on 05 Jun 2006 as well. You probably joined when it was midnight in one of the Canadian time zones. The board stores time as possibly an exact time, not an actual date, so it depends on what everyone's time zones are set at in their settings. Quote

In my profile it says GMT - 8 hours, but then right below it, it says: Date format: The syntax used is identical to the PHP date() function. 06/06/06 12:53 So maybe I should take out the 06/06/06 12:53 cuz I can delete it and put what I want there Quote

(I let it default when I set things up) Your joined date on your avatar showed up as up as 05 June 2006 until I changed my timezone, now it is 06 June 2006. MG Quote

ilovemysmartfortwo Posted July 17, 2006 Author Posted July 17, 2006 Thats because I joined at almost midnight on June 5/06 Alberta time. You're in BC, so it would've been almost 11 your time. If you change your time zone to Ontario time (like i did), it will show 666. Quote
