I saw one on the news a long time ago, maybe when it was first introduced in Europe and I didn't know what it was. Not until I found the so-smart.ca website where I filled out my information about the car, never knowing that it would actually get to Canada. Knowing that it was not approved for sale in Canada, I didn't wait and I gradually lost interest in the car. Until it was on the front page of the "Driving" section of the Vancouver Sun. I went to the Richmond Auto Mall only to find out twice that I had to make an appointment for a road test. My mom was looking for a car, and so we went to the "Game is on" sale even between BMW and MB in the lower mainland, where they tried to outsell each other inventory-wise for a weekend. Went there hoping there would be smart cars there and they were! That day it was pouring rain and it was not nice weather at all. I hoped into a Pure white cabrio with no roof lining and started driving away with my specialist Claire, only to be surprised that it started hailing during the test drive and it was very noisy, in part because of the lack of a roof lining. After that, we put our deposit in right away for the smart hoping to get it earliest April. The beginning of december saw the ordering process and to our surprise a car that was ownerless fit the options we needed and a 4 month early delivery date was too hard to pass up, so I took delivery of a starblue/silver pulse December 18th. The interior is twister bluegrey, with softouch, a/c, elec mirrors, and a 5cd changer. Additions that have been added since then are Brabas pedals, mirror caps, grill, and rear heat shield, metal smart badges and mb emblems front and back Wow that was a long intro lol. Quote

I know there was in "introduce yourself" thread but it ONE thread for EVERYONE and gah, got tired of that pretty quick. Wow you have a loaded smart! Oh I can't wait for mine!
