I received my package yesterday, with a letter addressed to myself. Fantastic! The BC pics are on there, however, not as many as on the forums. Some pics may not have reached MB on time, or, maybe the quality was not good enough to be reproduced. Some Ontario police escort / other pics are labelled under Quebec or, Manitoba and my feeling is that is due to the "source" coming from those provinces.

For MB to take the time and effort to put this together was fantastic and thoughtful. My hat is off to all those at MB responsible for the assistance and support.

NOTE: Star Motors of Ottawa has stepped up to the plate with the donation of a smart car and 1year insurance costs, as a hole-in-one prize, if a golf tournament is held in Ottawa for the nest relay.

No kidding - I don't remember the last time I put $20 in - and the price of diesel is coming back down.

But wouldn't that block the inlet pipe, to say nothing of what it would do to the engine (expecially if you use decaf)

I can't use the gift certificate because Shell doesn't sell Diesel in my area. I think there are only 2 Shell stations in Fredericton and about 30 Irvings.

Bet they'd give you $20 worth of lollipops for the certificate...Halloween's right around the corner!

I'd only need to drive 600 km on a gravel road to get to a Shell...don't even know if they sell diesel.

Does the certificate say it can only be used for diesel??

If not we'll be using in the next rental car in St. John's.

Finally picked my package up from DHL yesterday - it had been sitting there for quite a while. Neat stuff! I haven't looked at the CD yet - but everything is pretty cool!

Just for the record, I can read the CD on both my Mac and Windows systems, so chances are it isn't a system incompatibility.

I received a new cd today, from MB, with no explanation why or, who sent it. I think it is your replacement, however, have sent an email to JoAnne to confirm.

Also, received your cd of pics, for the Confederation Bridge, PEI - NB to Riviere du loop. Fantastic pics and I might give you a phone call to identify the individuals.

I also got a gift package from MB Canada. Thx to everyone involved.

I would like to say a special thank you to Cabrio R for her support to the rally. She drove the Grand Falls - Riviere-du-Loup section all by herself. I was supposed to join her but was not able to at the last minute. Those in the know know what I mean. But that's over and done with now. All I wanted to do was make sure that a meeting place was confirmed by both smarties (Cabrio R and Gyzmo) so that the rally would continue without a hitch. It was great meeting the other smarties at Cabrio R later on in the day.

Just got home on the weekend. Took a trip to Nashville and Memphis in the smart. Had great weather and a great time. The smart performed wonderfully as it always does. So many questions still and even had a trucker taking a picture of us as we were driving down the interstate beside him.

Just opened our package on Saturday the CD case has found it's home and the $20.00 from shell will be put to good use. But the cd I'm not sure about, I have some videos but no still pictures. I know I sent in pictures from Ontario right after I got back and none are there. Is there supose to be more? Anyway thanks MB and thanks Garry for all you hard work.

We had a great time that evening in Grand Falls with ARTZ and 42 Cruiser, good food and great company. The best was eating Smarties for desert

As far as giving everyone's name to Garry, if some of you don't want to be identified It will cost you... But honestly, I will need some help to do this since I don't remember all the names...

Welcome back Herbie, I am glad everything worked out for you. The trip to Riviere du Loup was OK, I had great music with me, not as much fun when you don't have a lot of Smarts following... . It was fun to have five Smarties meet me there, I was only expecting one. I have a CD with all the pics I took from PEI border to RdLoup if you want a copy just drop by my house when you are around and you see the Smart.

It was great meeting all of you, I hope we can do this again.
