Cait Posted September 30, 2006 Posted September 30, 2006 So instead of just typing half of the csc website and then using the arrow thingy to select the website I wanted from my history, I for some strange reason just typed in www.clubsmartcar.ca WITHOUT the "/forums" and I was reminded fo the horrible truth that our first page... our main and HOME page that newcommers see when they first visit..... SUCKS! I know that hardly anyone actually goes to that page, and that may be why its so behind the times, but is there anything anyone can do to improve it a little? Quote

TFM Posted September 30, 2006 Posted September 30, 2006 It was ready to be moved over to the main site. Then the announcement of the upcoming new version of phpBB3. Since it's a HUGE amount of work I put the project on hold so I could do it all at once since it will require restructuring anyway... But with phpBB3 moving much slower then expected (they just came out with beta 2 last month) I guess I could do it twice. Quote

The only change I would say is good is to simply directly forward to the forum directory... but then you are abandoning the FAQ and spotted pages. - Steven Quote
