CsC 2007 desktop wallpaper calendars

To complement the printed/pdf montly calendar, i had an idea for a simple desktop wallpaper calendar for each month. Here's what i had in mind...

[update: i'll keep this post updated with submissions as they come in... because we're not printing this, there can be multiple submissions for each month... you can choose the one you like.]

Most of these desktops are available in 1600 x 1200 (standard) and 1800 x 1200 (widescreen) format. Click on a thumbnail to open the image at full size. Save locally and/or right-click to set it as your wallpaper.

Everybody is welcome to post their original photos for consideration, they have to be as big as possible (1024 x 768 or higher) and preferably not cropped or with anything overlaid on the image (i will do all that stuff so they have a consistent look).

If you're posting images as submissions, maybe also suggest what month(s) the image could fit. I put the image of my car as April, because i know that's when i took the pics this year. But they could easily go anywhere from March to September. Others will be a little more specific.

Unlike a printed calendar, we can have multiple options for any month, so feel free to submit for any month, even if there's already an image there.

Darren, I love the idea of one person taking this on and keeping the fonts etc. all identical. This is what I wanted to do, you have a lot more skill graphically than I do!Here's my submission, preferably for August.-Iain

Hey, Glenn... this is a really nice shot! Do you have a higher-resolution version? 1024 x 768 or higher would be ideal.And can we please keep discussion in this thread to the subject of OUR OWN desktop picture calendars and not the ones we all recently got from smart Canada? Fanx.

And don't forget that unlike a printed calendar, IT'S OKAY if we have doubles, triples or quadruples for any given month. It gives everyone more choice for their desktop!

I'll have to get my daughter to help me with that! Very limited skills with a computer.. sometimes I even use 4 fingers to type ,but I'm damm good with a 16ga IV and a screwdriver...

I do have a couple more submissions that i haven't had a chance to process yet. (Laurie unexpectedly had to have her gall bladder removed a week ago, so it's been a bit of a topsy-turvy week.) I'll try to get to them this week so we have a full year's worth of calendars.But don't let that stop anyone from submitting additional images! Multiples are absolutely allowed for any month!
