I called Smart Centre in Kelowna, BC on Jan. 28, 2013 after reading about the recall here. I talked to the service advisor and said they Do Not Know about the Recall to change the door latches. After telling the advisor over and over again that there was a Recall, she findly asked the service manager about the recall, he said that just 15 minutes ago had received notice regarding this recall. They then said they will phone me when the parts came in. On Feb. 04 they phoned me to come in ASAP or they would give the replacement parts to the next person. Due to snow here I went in on Feb. 08th and they did the recall. They also gave me a Smart fortwo to use while they worked on my car. They said I was the first to get the recall done.
