Good Afternoon I am so frustrated, I own my Smart now since 2006 since Colorado would not let any dealer sell them until then It is a 2005 Smart for two and it had 500 miles on it. Was told it was a "Gray Car" G7K did the conversions. Only so far had the "Ignition" worked on by a mechanic who works on Mercedes, cost was $1000,00. The door handles stick but my hubby used WD 40 spray and that helps. I have 75218 miles on my Smart, and lately it started jumping out of gear. It's like someone knocked the gearshift into neutral. I stop and start it up again. It's getting worse and yesterday it would not go into gear I waited 5 min and it worked. Glad when I got off the highway and got her home!. I need to find a diagnostic tool. So far Smart center Westminster told me they can not work on any Smarts older then 2008, besides no one knows where to get the parts from! So frustrated, does any one have any ideas please. Thanks
