    • I should also add that it's very quiet and comfortable, the heated and ventilated seats are great, the leather is nice, the huge sunroof is fabulous, the rear air suspension (self-levelling) is cool for off-roading due to the height setting being adjustable. Not that we've gone off-road yet....our passengers also like the comfortable heated rear seats.
    • Just over a year later, 13 months more or less into the ownership of this car, here is the updated lifetime fuel and energy consumption.   The total amount of fuel we've burnt over 23K km is 278 litres. I've not had to pay one cent out of pocket for fuel thanks to credit card points (!). The 5 MW of electricity used cost $700. The annual service was not even too bad at $550.   Our previous B200 would have used 1715 litres for that distance, damn near $4000.   The smart BRABUS Canada 1 would have used 975 litres for that distance, or $2000. So nearly twice as much for the same distance as the GLC350e.   The only downer is the cost of the buying the new car.
    • Yeah but the unions still leak. Have to redo lines again....
